Join us for “Trees and the Art of Nature,” a walk led by EcoAddendum Director and fine art nature photographer Kathryn Kolb.
Kathryn introduces the special quality of Atlanta’s urban forest, highlighting the character and value of many of the tree species found in Grant Park. She then explains how the beautiful patterns and shapes we notice in trees are actually based on the same geometrical forms we find in aesthetic fine art and design. She’ll also share tips about making photographs from iphones to film cameras.
Meet at 9:45 at the intersection of Cherokee Avenue and Sydney Street. The walk is about one mile total.
