Act of Devotion

Choreographer Lauri Stallings and composer Daniel Clay collaborate on a participatory installation that transports the public to the surface of “something else,” to explore how community is formed through ritual acts of devotion. This toilsome, twenty-three minute, non-migratory work will recur every thirty minutes throughout the night. During each 7-minute break, an individual from the public is chosen to inhabit the space until the next performance.
