Cloud Cutting: Inverted Ground

Tristan Al-Haddad’s experiential project Cloud Cuttingseeks to map a force of nature in order to gain an understanding of how one can materialize the immaterial, also known as actualizing the virtual. Cloud Cutting will illuminate the Atlanta troposphere in an interactive installation using laser scan devices. The lasers cast planes of amplified green light into the cloud cover enabling the viewer an art experience of the delicate, peripatetic nature of the subject.
