Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons
All are invited to join the Lantern Art Parade and Ghost Chase with the Krewe! Lanterns and ghosts can be made at one of the Krewe’s Lantern Art Parade Workshops, or you can make your own at home. Check out the Krewe’s Idea Gallery.
The Lantern Parade will kick off FLUX!

8 pm Step Off
Line up at the Granite Room, host of the evening’s bicycle valet, which is being run by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.
The parade opens with The Ghost Chase! Cyclists lap the parade route chased by ghost lanterns, a collaboration with the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition. The procession of Lantern Art follows.

These fun-filled workshops are led by members of the Krewe. Relax and chat, make a lantern, make a ghost, have a sandwich and a beer at the pub. Lanterns are made with cardboard, paper, paint, and glue. It’s fun and easy. Your lantern is yours to keep, along with all your new parade friends!
+ There are 25 spaces in each workshop session.

+ Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
+ Wear your play clothes and bring ideas to share!
+ Workshops are free, we supply materials, or bring your own.
+ All you have to do is promise to be in the parade and provide your own lighting for your lantern at the parade.
