Momentary Performances
DETAILS
October 4 - 31, 2010
Lee Walton
Momentary Performances stems from Lee Walton’s interest in the subtle, everyday actions of public life. Through the simple of use of Vinyl text installed in public space, everyday actions are formalized, thus taking on a new life. Through this amplification, intimate everyday occurrences become celebrated events and blur the line between real-life and theater.
Momentary Performances is a series of 8 different choreographed performances that will take place in 8 different locations in Atlanta. Over the course of a month, each performance will occur 4 times.
