Question Bridge: Black Males is an innovative transmedia project that facilitates dialogue between a critical mass of black men from diverse and contending backgrounds. The project was created to stimulate connections and understanding among black men and to show the diversity of thought, character and identity in the black male population so rarely seen in American media. A site where they can ask and respond to questions about life in America, thus creating a space in which to represent and redefine black male identity in this country.

In 2012, the project launched as a documentary-styled video art installation, but since then, it has expanded to include an interactive website and mobile app, community engagement events, an education curriculum for high school students and most recently a book. In fact, two of the Question Bridge collaborators, Hank Willis Thomas (photo conceptual artist) and Deborah Willis (producer) will be at the Atlanta Center for Contemporary Art on October 1st for the Question Bridge book launch and signing, with Bayeté Ross Smith (multi-media artist & photographer) joining them on October 3rd for Flux Night.
