The Traveling Menagerie is a traveling street museum on route from Elsewhere, a living museum set within a former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, NC. Led by a six person beach surrey, the train of artist-designed carts includes a library, musical entourage, cabinet of curiosities, and screen printing wagon.
The Traveling Menagerie Parade will commence on the corner of Fair Street and Walker Street at 8:30 pm and travel through Castleberry Hill for approximately one hour before returning to their site. The group welcomes everyone on foot, bike, and other non-motorized forms to march, sing, perform, and ride along with them.
Following the parade, the menagerie will park for an evening of performances and revelry activated by artists and participants alike.
Additional support provided by the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, NC.
