Kai Riedl (Macha) made multiple trips to Java, Indonesia to record hundreds of tracks of traditional music, and then remixed, reimagined, and mashed those recordings with synths, bleeps and bloops, drum machines, and more. With many of their friends in Athens, Ga. and beyond, they’ve made a set of all of it and have an ethno futuristic dance gaze party where we can pretend none of us will ever die. Kai will be joined by Vivek Boray who will be contributing field recordings recorded on the streets of India.
